A very cool looking set of bollards with an industrial feel to them. These are at Ship Canal Parkway .
Welcome to my Bollards of Buffalo Blog. Bollards come in many shapes and sizes and are used in many different locations to control the flow of traffic, protect buildings and other structures, they are also used in harbors to tie up marine vessels. I will be posting on a regular basis but not every day. I will be searching out all areas of Buffalo in the coming days. I will also post photos that are not Bollards but will be historic or interesting. I hope you will enjoy the Blog.

Queen Annes Gate
I just wanted to feature another gate that is great looking and still functional. This is Queen Annes Gate on West Ferry Street, this is a private street with two houses on it.
Marine Bollards
Here are some nice marine bollards I spotted along the sea wall at Lasalle Park. It looks like they have been there a long time.

Upping Stone
Here is another upping stone I found along Porter Ave. It appears to be carved out of sandstone. This one was relocated when they redid the street and set it on it's end instead of flat.
Good Luck Symbol
Well that good luck symbol the pineapple showed up again along with a nice lighting bollard at one the mansions of Millionaires Row on Delaware Avenue.

Butler Mansion
Here are some photo's I took last fall of the Butler Mansion. Click the link to find out a lot more about this beautiful house. As you can see I did find a bollard lurking around in the form of a gate bollard protecting the wall and gate.
Light Bollards
Here are some combination bollard/lights at the new court for McKinley High School, I took these over the winter.
