Bollards of Buffalo

Welcome to my Bollards of Buffalo Blog. Bollards come in many shapes and sizes and are used in many different locations to control the flow of traffic, protect buildings and other structures, they are also used in harbors to tie up marine vessels. I will be posting on a regular basis but not every day. I will be searching out all areas of Buffalo in the coming days. I will also post photos that are not Bollards but will be historic or interesting. I hope you will enjoy the Blog.

Here are some new bollards installed on Hanover St. These are actually reinstalled streets in the original layout from the 1800's. Everything in this area was bulldozed years ago, now it is part of the Erie Canal Harbor redevelopment. These bollards blend in quite nice with the area.
