Bollards come in many shapes and sizes and are used in many different locations to control the flow of traffic, protect buildings and other structures, they are also used in harbors to tie up marine vessels.
I will be posting on a regular basis but not every day. I will be searching out all areas of Buffalo in the coming days. I will also post photos that are not Bollards but will be historic or interesting. I hope you will enjoy the Blog.

Here are a couple of super sized bollards that are located in Silo City. They are protecting some support beams in the loading area of one of the grain elevators.
They look like they've been doing there job for a long while.
