Today I have a special post. No bollards just a piece of living history. The B-17 Flying Fortress "Memphis Belle" is visiting Buffalo as part of a tour presented by an organization called Liberty Foundation. They restore old planes and get them back into flying condition. You have all seen movies of these Bombers and they look huge, but in reality I don't know where they fit the bombs, crew, guns and munitions, they are actually pretty small compared to even todays fighter. The P-40 did not make the trip because of some missing bolts that were on back order, I suppose you can't just go out and buy parts for an aircraft built in 1941.
