I found this on Republic St. An old railroad car stopping device. These bumping post's are used to prevent a railcar from rolling off the end of the tracks.There is no track laid here and it is close to an old warehouse. I suppose it was just a spur that serviced the building and was removed, if you look close you can see the old loading dock. There are active tracks across the street from here.
